Botanix Barrie’s Garden Centre has an industry leading 5-year warranty on trees and shrubs. Botanix’s standard warranty period is 1 year from date of purchase. With the purchase of Myke Tree & Shrub the warranty period is extended an additional 4 years. See terms and conditions below for further details.

Terms and Conditions Botanix Tree and Shrub Warranty

1. Botanix’s warranty program is aimed at indemnifying the customer against loss of a tree or shrub in the event of death of such tree or shrub, subject to the terms and conditions set forth therein. We will not be held responsible for any amount greater that the original purchase price.
   
   
2. Trees and shrubs are warranted for one year from date of purchase.
   
   
3. The tree and shrub must have been planted in accordance with the planting instructions provided at time of sale. Notably, but not exhaustively, the customer must have respected growth requirements for trees and shrubs such as drainage, winter protection and adequate watering. We therefore urge you to seek our advice, should your plant be struggling, before considering a return.
   
   
4. The indemnity provided herein is not cashable and is limited, at Botanix’s discretion to either (1) replacement of the tree or shrub with the same tree or shrub, one time only; or (2) a credit for an amount equal to the price of the tree or shrub paid (excluding installation) at the time of purchase of the tree or shrub. Indemnity will only be provided if proof of purchase is presented to Botanix by way of cash register receipt. We do not offer cash reimbursements.
   
   
5. Botanix’s basic warranty program does not apply to annuals, bulbs, perennials, vines and bare root trees, aquatic and tropical plants. Moreover, Botanix reserves the right to not include other trees or shrubs species we consider too difficult to be covered by the warranty.
   
   
6. Trees and shrubs individually valued in excess of $75 must be left in the placed planted and Botanix has to the right to inspect the tree or shrub to validate the death of plant material.
   
   
7. This warranty does not apply to damages caused by natural disasters or extreme weather conditions.
   
   
8. Warranty claims will not be issued from December 1 to June 30. All plant material is required to remain planted until June 30. Certain trees and shrubs are dormant during December 1 to June 30 and therefore it may be indeterminable if they have died.
   
   
9. The warranty does not apply when damages to tree or shrubs were caused by the act of a person, animal or insect and disease not treated, or by wrongdoing, vandalism, and negligence or otherwise.
   
   
10. Myke extended warranty is available for an additional 4 years if Myke Tree & Shrub is purchased at the same time (ie: on the receipt).
